Celebrating Mission The Adult Forum Sunday School class enjoyed a recent program about the Magdalene Serenity House in Fayetteville and then donated money to purchase Tide laundry pods for the women living there. The non-profit helps rebuild women's lives who have experienced trauma through safe housing, long-term support, and community partnerships. As many as eight women are supported for two years at no cost. Pictured are Joy Morris, far right, interim
executive director of MSH, with class president Chuck Bushong and Shelly Moran. Ms. Morris said the donation would provide 16 weeks of laundry for the residents. |
