Greetings friends,

I have been overwhelmed by how our church lives to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community and worldwide! One of our partnering organizations (which cares for others from around the world here in our community) reached out to us this week, and I wanted to share the need with you all.

As we are engaging with several opportunities to serve our community during this time, I invite you to consider this opportunity as well. If you, your household, small groups, Sunday School class, workplace, friend group, etc... would like to build any of the attached kits, Central UMC is serving as a drop-off location during our weekly church office hours and Sundays!

"We are still riding the current way of an all-time high number of arrivals! This will last until around 12/15. But the arrivals have outpaced housing, resulting in temporary housing, so our need for furniture and Welcome Kits will extend into January.

Having enough kits has been a real problem. We are out of almost every type! While receiving some from community partners, we're giving them out faster than they can come in."
