This January, we are focusing on stewardship, which means taking care of something with which we’ve been entrusted. During our January sermon series called All In: Believe, Serve, Give, we will be looking at what it means to be all in in our faith, our service and our stewardship of the things God trusted to us.

Soon, you will receive a commitment card in the mail along with a narrative budget for 2024. You may also fill out your commitment card here. 

We invite you to bring your cards in on Sunday, January 28, to either worship service to turn in as a part of worship. Then, on Sunday, January 28, you are invited to an All In: Commitment Lunch at noon in the CAC. You can register for lunch here.

Central is excited to have a float and walkers in the Parade of Fools on Saturday, February 10. If you would like to walk in the parade or serve hot cocoa on Dickson St, sign up here.

Join us for lunch in the CAC on Sunday, February 11, at 12 pm. This lunch supports our Missions and Outreach. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fund all the missions of Central UMC for 2024. There will be a silent auction, spaghetti, and fun! So, if you're hosting a Super Bowl party, we've got you covered for lunch, and you will be home in plenty of time to prep for the game. Lent is right around the corner. All are welcome on Ash Wednesday to join in a variety of worship options. 

-Ashes to go 7 am-8:30 am: Come and receive your ashes before work or school on the steps of the Sanctuary. 

-Ash Wednesday Services at 12 pm and 6 pm in the Sanctuary.

Save the date for Central's first-ever Pickleball Party. This will be a tournament like no other. Bring a partner (all ages welcome) and sign up at the event for a chance to win. Costumes are encouraged. Proceeds go to youth mission initiatives. Host by Central Youth.

We are saving you a seat at the table. 

This year, we would love to see you at dinner on Wednesdays. Dinner is prepared by the amazing Edna Combs and Sheryl Pearson and will surely be one of your favorite meals every week. So, take a night not to cook or do dishes. Drop in anytime from 5-6 for food and fellowship. 

Dinner is $7 for adults (ages 12+), $5 for children (ages 2-11), and free for children under two. Maximum amount per family is $25.  All are welcome!
