Lent is right around the corner. All are welcome on Ash Wednesday to join in a variety of worship options. 

-Ashes to go 7 am-8:30 am: Come and receive your ashes before work or school on the steps of the Sanctuary. 

-Ash Wednesday Services at 12 pm and 6 pm in the Sanctuary.

"Savior: What the Bible Says about the Cross".  Mondays, February 19- March 25, at 10 a.m., and Wednesdays, February 21-March 27, at 6:15 p.m. in the Wesley Chapel. Register here.

Soup & Sermon is a community-wide Lenten series that will take place at Central UMC and St. Paul on Tuesdays from February 20 to March 26, from 12 to 1 p.m. During the series, attendees can listen to a different speaker each week and enjoy a soup lunch afterward. Holy Wednesdays is a special communion service offered during Advent and Lent. This service will be at 6 p.m. in the Wesley Chapel and last about 15 minutes. All are welcome. 

Beginning Sunday, March 3, you will find donation bins in the CAC's Narthex and South Foyer. Our Central Kids are in need of plastic eggs, individually wrapped candy and small toys. The deadline for donations is Sunday, March 24. 

Join Central Kids on Easter Sunday for an Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Families with children grades K-6 will check in at the Student Ministries Building. An age group schedule will be released before March 31.  Central Littles will host hunts for ages 0-4.  

Holy Week

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, March 24. We will celebrate this day by bringing in the palms in both of our worship services.

Join us on Maundy Thursday, March 28, at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Holy Thursday is the first of the three days of solemn remembrance of the events leading up to and immediately following the crucifixion of Jesus.

Good Friday, March 29 will begin at 6 p.m. in the CAC. Good Friday services focus upon prayer and reflection on the death of Christ and penance and special devotion for the believer.
