Join us each Sunday in Our Lenten sermon series called Witnesses. We will be looking at the various perspectives of people who stood at the foot of the cross. Join this Sunday, March 16th as we look at The Women who were witnesses at the cross. Our Scripture is Mark 15:40-42.

INCLUSIVE CONNECTIONS

Our Inclusive Connections group meets tonight March 13 @ 6:30pm in room 102. We will be discussing plans for upcoming events happening in our church and community. All are Welcome! 

SOUP AND SERMON

Meet us at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on March 18th @ 12pm for our second Soup and Sermon series this Lent. Join us for a short worship service, fellowship, and a bowl of delicious soup.

LENT STUDY

Our Lent Wednesday night study, Seven Words, meets on Wednesdays @ 6pm in Wesley 310. Join us as we reflect on the seven final sayings from Jesus on the cross. We will begin each session with communion in the chapel! Register for the class here. Purchase your book here.

HYMN FESTIVAL CONCERT

This Sunday March 16 @ 3pm! Join us for an afternoon of beautiful music and worship. You won't want to miss this  gathering of 3 talented choirs from the ARUMC connection and the DFW Brass Ensemble in our very own Central UMC Sanctuary! This spectacular event will be different than any other Sunday morning with multiple vocalist and instrumental performances. The concert is free, but the talent is rich! BE SALT BE LIGHT 

Amid social turmoil are you asking what Christians must do to be the hands and feet of Jesus? Join the CUMC Salt and Light Team for their second meeting on March 16 @ 5pm in CAC. This Sunday's discussion will be centered around Immigration and Building Bridges. Multiple guest speakers will be present discussing immigration law and processes and how we can better help our community. Meetings will continue to take place March 23 and 30 in the CAC at 5pm. BEER AND HYMNS

Beer and Hymns will be hosting "I Am Every Woman" event benefitting League Women Voters of Arkansas on March 16th @ Bike Rack Brewing 5-7pm. Beer and Hymns raises money for many multiple philanthropies here in NWA. Grab some friends and come join this fun event! 

CENTRAL CONNECTIONS

Are you wanting to learn more about what CUMC is all about? Join us on March 16 @ 10am to find out how to get connected, serve, and grow in your faith through this amazing community. We'll meet in the CAC where coffee and snacks will be provided.

ESL Teacher Needed

In December, we welcomed a family from Zambia via the refugee program through Canopy NWA. Fidel and her son, Klement, just moved to Fayetteville and are in need of a private English tutor. Because of her late shift, Fidel is unable to attend the local ESL class. If you know of someone who is certified to teach English, please email info@centraltolife.com. In addition, our Circle of Welcome has put together a list of items that will help make their new house a home. If you would like to help stock their home, please sign up here. Drop off any items at CUMC and we will ensure they are delivered.

Parking Deck: You may have seen the press release announcing that Central has officially begun our parking agreement with the City of Fayetteville. This is a pay-to-park arrangement; however, we do not anticipate any disruption to your parking needs. Please note that there will be no enforcement by the city on all day on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. If you would like to ensure uninterrupted parking on all days, please provide your license plate number to Jaime Reinen at jreinen@centraltolife.com.
