Join us this Sunday, April 6th as we continue our sermon series Witnesses. This week we will look at the perspectives of Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. Our scripture comes from John 19:38-42.

EASTER @ CENTRAL

Easter is almost here! We have multiple ways to engage throughout Holy Week and Easter worship services on April 20th. Invite your friends and neighbors and be sure to bring flower stems to any Easter Service to help our living crosses bloom! We are also looking for hospitality and usher volunteers. Join us for a meeting this Sunday, April 6 @ 10am in our sanctuary to learn on how to serve. For more info, click here.

SOUP AND SERMON

Join us @ Central UMC on April 8th @ 12pm in the sanctuary for our Soup and Sermon series this Lent. We hope to see you for a short worship service, fellowship, and a bowl of delicious soup.

Inclusive Connections

Our Inclusive Connections ministry will meet April 10th @ 630pm in Wesley Room 102.  Join us as we plan for our upcoming movie night in May and Pride Parade plans for June. For more information reach out to Kennie Goff.   

TEAM NIGHT

Are you interested in contemporary worship arts? Do you have the gift of music, performance art, or visual art? Join us tonight, April 3rd @ 6pm in the CAC for Contemporary Worship Team Night and find ways you can serve in worship. 

CORE CENTRAL SUNDAY

Join us April 27th @ 10am for Core Central! We'll ignite and empower one another by celebrating how God has moved through our ministries over the past year. Together, we'll extend invitations, empower growth, and engage in impactful ministry.

MEN'S BRUNCH

Our Central Men's Ministry will be meeting on April 12th @ 9am. on the 2nd floor of the SMB. Join us for food, fellowship, and finding out ways to volunteer here at Central.  

CENTRAL SINGLES

Each Sunday our Central Singles group meets in Wesley Room 207 between 9:30am and 11am for coffee and fellowship.  We also gather for dinner every other Thursday for dinner at 6pm. Please contact Mary Purvis for more info. 

Next Gen Ministries

HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR DINNER

Sunday, May 4th @ 5pm will begin a heartfelt event honoring the achievements and milestones of our high school graduating seniors, filled with prayers, speeches, and moments of reflection. Please be sure to register here and join us to celebrate! 

6TH GRADE YOUTH PREVIEW 

Current 6^th graders are invited to come and preview Sundays @ Central Youth on April 6 @ 5pm at the SMB. You'll enter in the Parking Garage Doors (3rd floor Parking Garage, 2^nd floor SMB). Join us for dinner, worship, a message, and small groups! Pick up is @7 pm. Erika serve as the 6^th grade small group leader for the evening. If you have any questions, reach out to either Erika or Zack.

VBS TSHIRT DEADLINE 

Be sure to register for VBS by April 15th to get a T-shirt. We are still looking for volunteers, so be sure to reach out to Erika for more ways you can help!

EASTER EGG HUNT

Central Kids Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place Easter Sunday April 20th @ 10am in the SMB. We need your help filling eggs! Bring candy or trinkets to the church office or leave them in the Welcome Center/Narthex before worship. Contact Erika Regier for other ways to help.

COMMUNITY MEALS

In the month of March, Central Community Meals served 815 meals and offered 145 volunteer opportunities. Central also had the privilege of hosting a memorial service for Community Meals neighbor Don "Double D" Denton, with a meal donated by Sassy's Barbecue.

CANOPY NEEDS

Our Circle of Welcome has put together a list of items that will help make our Canopy new house a home. If you would like to help stock their home, please sign up here. Drop off any items at in the CUMC main office and we will ensure they are delivered.

Campus News

Parking Deck: You may have seen the press release announcing that Central has officially begun our parking agreement with the City of Fayetteville. This is a pay-to-park arrangement; however, we do not anticipate any disruption to your parking needs. Please note that there will be no enforcement by the city on all day on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. If you would like to ensure uninterrupted parking on all days, please provide your license plate number to Jaime Reinen at jreinen@centraltolife.com.
