Dear Central Family, 

By now you should have received information in the mail about our 2025 Ministry Funding Plan with a 2025 Commitment card included. If you consider Central your church home, I invite you to prayerfully consider how you plan to financially support the mission and ministries of CUMC this year. After you fill out your commitment card, bring it with you this Sunday, January 28. We will share our commitments during worship and pray that God will continue to bless others through our work! If you're not able to be here this weekend, you can fill your commitment out online here. 

Central's mission is to ignite and empower our community to experience and share the love of Christ. I'm excited about what's in store for us this year, and I believe God is going to use this congregation to make an impact on the community around us. Can you see it? Can you feel the Spirit moving? Walking the Mourner's Path

On February 9th a new group called "Walking the Mourner's Path" will begin meeting on Sundays from 3-5pm in the Wesley Library. Walking the Mourner’s Path is designed specifically for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Kids Night Out

Conrad Baker in the death of his wife, Lois Baker, who passed away on January 18, 2025. Lois joined Central United Methodist Church in September 2013 and was a member of UMW Circle of Faith.

Mission Opportunity 

On Sunday in the 11am service we welcomed Fidel and Clement, a mother and son who came from Zambia to the US on refugee visas. In partnership with Canopy NWA, members of our congregation are helping the family adjust to life in the states, as well as supplying some basic necessities. 

If you're interested in supporting this ministry, there are two ways to help. 1) We are raising $1,200 to assist our family. You can give towards that goal here. 2) We need extra volunteers to help transport our family around occasionally. Campus News

Parking Deck: Central has entered into a parking agreement with the City of Fayetteville. This is a pay-to-park arrangement; however, we do not anticipate any disruption to your parking needs. Please note that there will be no enforcement by the city on all day on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. If you would like to ensure uninterrupted parking on all days, please provide your license plate number to Jaime Reinen at jreinen@centraltolife.com. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Campus Access: In December a new door access and security system was installed throughout Central's campus. This system assures the safety of our congregation and staff through new technology and will take time to be implemented with our calendar and scheduling.
