BACKPACK BLESSINGS

This Sunday, August 10 at the @9 and 11 am services, join us for a special Backpack Blessings moment as we prepare our hearts for the upcoming school year.  We pray your year is full of blessings and comfort. 

BACK TO SCHOOL BASH

It's Back to School season!  August is here and that means it time for our annual Back to School Bash!  Join us Sunday, August 17 @5pm on campus outside between buildings C and D for food, fun, and games. Bring your friends and come learn about all NextGen events happening this fall! For more information contact Zack or Erika. 

MILESTONE BIBLES

We are excited to celebrate the milestones of our 3 year olds, Kindergarteners, and 3rd graders with a bible presentation on Sunday, August 24. Please register your child here by August 17 so we can communicate how they can participate and receive their bibles.  

NEXT GEN LEADER TRAINING

On Sunday, August 24 @5-7pm, we will be having our annual leader training in building D. This is a time for any NextGen volunteers to come hear updates to programming from the new year and talk about skills and policies related to working with our Kids and Youth programs. Dinner and childcare will be provided.  For more information contact Zack or Erika. 

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS 

NextGen Wednesdays will start again on September 10! This includes both Club K6 and Youth Hang Time. Club K6 is a time for Kindergarten-6th graders to come together for worship, bible stories, games, and crafts  @6-7:30pm in building D. Youth Hang Time is a time for 7th-12th graders to come together and hang out in a safe space with games, snacks, and good times @4-7:30pm. Dinner is provided for those at Hang Time. 

SUNDAY NIGHTS

Sunday Nights kick off for our NextGen Youth (7th-12th grades) on September 7 @5-7pm in building D. Dinner will be provided, so bring a friend and come worship with us!  

CONFIRMATION CLASS REGISTRATION

Confirmation is a class for 6th-8th grade students to learn what it means to be a United Methodist and a member at Central. The class begins September 7th-late April during the 10am Sunday school hour on the 2nd floor of building D (Student Ministries Building). Register your student here.  We will be having a retreat for Confirmation on September 12-14 at Camp Tanako! Make sure to mark the date in your calendar and sign up using this link once you are registered for Confirmation.

VOLUNTEER WITH NEXT GEN

Our NextGen Ministries can't happen without volunteers! We are looking for grown ups who care about the spiritual development of the next generation of disciples at Central! Roles vary from Sunday school leaders to Hang Time supervisors, small group leaders and special event help! If you're interested in knowing more, please contact Zack (Youth) or Erika (Kids), or come to NextGen leader training on August 24.
