AN UPDATE FROM PASTOR JENNIE
Central Family, Earlier this month we received a letter from our leaders (linked here) inviting us all to join together to meet our year-end giving goal of $1,000,000 by December 31. We’re excited to share that thanks to your early generosity,
we’ve already raised $130,000! We know this goal is within reach, but it takes all of us to play our part. Every gift, large or small, makes an impact! Every dollar prepares us to finish 2025 well and to be ready for the amazing things God has waiting for us in the next year. And here’s the fun part: when we meet our goal, we will ring the church bells and livestream the celebration! Let’s make it happen together. Thank you for your faithfulness, your hope, and your commitment to Central UMC’s mission! In Gratitude, Pastor Jennie |

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: JAN MOON
We are so thankful for the many hands and hearts that serve at Central! Every smile, prayer, and moment given in service makes a difference in our church and our community. This month we would like to share our conversation with Jan Moon, who helps coordinate our Central CARES ministry, on why she serves at Central: Q: What inspires you to give your time and energy through volunteering at Central? A: Volunteering at church has been instilled in me since I was a teen. Jesus taught through His actions that serving others is an act of love and humility. Serving at Central has
brought me great joy because it allows me to share Christ’s love in meaningful, everyday ways.
Q: How has serving others through the church impacted your faith or sense of community? A: Serving at
Central has enlarged my family and has reminded me that God can do wondrous things through all kinds of people. This family at Central prays together, cares about one another and shares God’s grace in countless ways. Through service I’ve been reminded that we truly are the hands and feet of Jesus in this troubled world. Q:
What would you say to someone who’s thinking about getting involved but hasn’t yet? A: Just do it!! There is a place for everyone at Central. Once you take that first step you too will find family and a joy that fills your heart. Believe me, you will receive more than you
give! Luke 6:38 - “Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

IT'S NOT COMPLICATED: Ask the PastorsIf you’ve ever wondered whether God can genuinely change, this episode is for you. In the latest episode of It’s Not Complicated, we take on a listener’s question about Process Theology and dig into what it really claims and why it matters. It’s a
tightly focused, mind-stretching conversation that breaks down the core ideas clearly enough for newcomers while offering real substance for long-time students of theology. A challenging but deeply rewarding listen.
