Her presentation will encompass her personal journey, an in-depth exploration of relevant vocabulary, information on support resources for parents of queer children, an overview of current executive orders impacting the queer community, and a discussion of prominent pride flags and the communities they represent. SACK IT SUNDAY Central's outreach ministry, Good Sam, will be collecting food for CEO food pantry on Sunday, September 28. CEO is a non profit organization of volunteers
from 21 local churches who give emergency financial aid and food to needy people in our community. Sacks for this food collection will be given out on Sunday, September 14. Food collection will be Sunday, September 28. Collection vehicles will be between the sanctuary and CAC. Most needed items are cereal, pork & beans, canned vegetables, chunky soups, and peanut butter. |

WORLD COMMUNION DAY CONCERTCentral will be celebrating World Communion Day on Sunday, October 5 @ 5 pm in our Sanctuary. We will be lifting up music from around the world—honoring the diversity and unity of the global Church. This special service is not
only a spiritual gathering but also a chance to support our 2026 El Salvador Mission Team. With a goal of raising $50,000, all donations collected during this event will help fund this life-changing journey of service, learning, and partnership. Join us in song, in prayer, and in support of this vital mission effort.
BLESSING OF THE ANIMALSBring your beloved pets—big or small—for a special Blessing of the Animals afternoon at Central's north parking lot on Sunday, October 5 @ 3-4pm. Each pet will receive an individual blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and
creation care. After the blessing, return to Central and join us for the World Communion Concert at 5:00 PM in our sanctuary. All are welcome—come celebrate God's creation with us. |
FAYETTEVILLE JCL TRIVIA NIGHTCome join the Junior Civic League of Fayetteville in their fundraising efforts to support the women and children in need in NWA. On Thursday, October 16 @6pm at the Fayetteville Public Library, Fayetteville JCl will
hold it's annual Trivia Night. Proceeds from this event benefit Central's local mission partners; Magdalene Serenity House, New Beginnings, Children's Safety Center, Canopy, and many more! It's a great night to gather your friends and dress up to support our local NWA philanthropies.

CAMPUS UPDATEAs we continue to enhance our worship experience in the Sanctuary, we wanted to provide you with an update on our sound installation. Our main speaker system was on an extensive backorder. Our AV installation partners are now working closely with
the sound engineers to complete the enhancements using equipment that is currently in stock. We appreciate your patience and look forward to sharing the improved sound experience with you soon.

Patricia’s father, Alvin "Al" Long passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning and his service is on Friday in Nashville, TN. Alvin will be buried in the Veterans Cemetery
in Nashville with full military honors. Roy’s uncle, David Cornwell “Bo” Clinton passed away last week and his service was in Little Rock on Saturday, September 6th.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS NextGen Wednesdays have started back! Club K6 is a time for Kindergarten-6th graders to come together for worship, bible stories, games, and crafts from 6-7:30pm in building D. Youth Hang Time is a time for 7th-12th graders to come together and hang out in a
safe space with games, snacks, and good times from 4-7:30pm. Dinner is provided for those at Hang Time.

REFUGE RETREATNEXTGEN 6-9th graders, mark your calendars on November 7-9 for Refuge Retreat. Refuge is an opportunity for 6th-9th grade youth to be introduced to the connectional events of the Arkansas Conference Council
on Youth Ministries of the United Methodist Church. They enjoy a weekend in the beautiful outdoors, focusing on Christ, developing friendships, and having fun while getting away from the busyness of life. This event will be held at Shepherd of the Ozarks, a great setting filled with large, comfortable log cabins surrounded by bluffs and a creek. Register HERE.
