MAGADLENE HOUSE H.E.R AWARDOn September 23, our NWA community came together to celebrate the 8th birthday of Magdalene Serenity House. Eight years ago, Magdalene Serenity House opened its doors to justice-involved women ready to rebuild their lives. What began as a vision has grown into a
vibrant community rooted in recovery, resilience, and second chances. This year, Central United Methodist church is honored to be recognized as the 2025 Outstanding Community Partner Excellence. Thank you to our mission lay leaders, Jane Gearhart and Amy Wyel, along with many of our congregational members who help represent our partnership with this impactful and empowering mission to help women build a better life in our

MEN'S MINISTRYThis month our Central's Men's Ministry has several upcoming events where you can connect and serve both our church and our community. On Saturday, October 11, we will meet at St James UMC from 9-11am for a service clean up project. Join us and bring

FAYETTEVILLE JCL TRIVIA NIGHTCome join the Junior Civic League of Fayetteville in their fundraising efforts to support the women and children in need in NWA. On Thursday, October 16 @ 6pm at the Fayetteville Public Library, Fayetteville JCl will
hold it's annual Trivia Night. Proceeds from this event benefit Central's local mission partners: Magdalene Serenity House, New Beginnings, Children's Safety Center, Canopy, and many more! It's a great night to gather your friends and dress up to support our local NWA community.
MICAH HOPE MINISTRY The Micah Hope Ministry is a local church-based mission that provides spiritual community and long-term supportive housing for men who have completed addiction treatment. This ministry offers men the opportunity to develop a relationship with Jesus while also offering
hope for all those affected by addiction. On October 9 at 6:30 at Christ Church NWA, Micah Hope Ministry will be holding its yearly fundraiser with all proceeds going to their dedicated mission. Sign up here to attend. |

NEXTGEN PROGRAMS NextGen Programs are back in action on Sunday and Wednesday evenings! Youth meets on Sundays in building D starting @5 pm. Dinner is provided, so bring a friend and come worship with us! On Wednesdays, Club K6 is for
Kindergarten - 6th graders, to are share in worship, bible stories, games, and crafts from 6-7:30pm in building D. Youth Hang Time is for 7th-12th graders, and provides a place hang out in a safe space with games, snacks, and good times from 4-7:30pm. Dinner is provided for those at Hang Time. REFUGE RETREATNEXTGEN 6-9th graders, mark your calendars on November 7-9 for Refuge Retreat. Refuge is an opportunity for 6th-9th grade youth to be introduced to the connectional events of the Arkansas Conference Council
on Youth Ministries of the United Methodist Church. They enjoy a weekend in the beautiful outdoors, focusing on Christ, developing friendships, and having fun while getting away from the busyness of life. This event will be held at Shepherd of the Ozarks, a great setting filled with large, comfortable log cabins surrounded by bluffs and a creek. Register HERE.
