SOCKTOBERAs the weather gets colder, many of our neighbors are in need of something small that makes a big difference - a warm, clean pair of new socks. Join us this Socktober in collecting new socks of all sizes for men, women, and children in our local community. Socks are
the most requested and least donated items at shelters, so this Socktober drop off a new pair of socks in the white laundry baskets in the CAC or SMB buildings at Central. Let's continue to work together to experience and share the love of Christ in NWA! |
MAGDALENE SERENITY HOUSEOur mission partner, Magdalene Serenity House, is seeking financial support due to a federal grant not being renewed this year due to lack of available funding. This grant would help aid in supporting a clinical psychologist to be on staff to help work
directly with individual residents on meeting their goals which is vital to achieving the mission of Magdalene Serenity House. Your support helps these women in need and continues to ignite and empower our local community. If you are able to help, please use the QR code or this link to donate. |

IT'S NOT COMPLICATED: STRANGER THINGSIn this week's epiosde of It's Not Complicated, we draw parallels between Judges 16:18–30, where Samson sacrifices himself to defeat the Philistines, and the movie The Matrix, where Neo gives his life to save humanity. They explore themes of self-sacrifice, chosen
identity, and inner strength that transcend physical limitations. Tune in for a fun, thought-provoking take on how pop culture and the Bible intersect in surprising ways. You can check out previous episodes here! Or find it on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Youtube. New Podcast Topics: Share Your
Ideas! As we plan our January podcast, we are looking for the questions that don't have easy answers. What topics have been on your mind lately? What difficult or thought provoking questions would you love to hear us explore? Email us and we would love to take your suggestions. |
