MEN'S BRUNCH

Attention Central Men! Join us for Men’s Ministry Brunch on Saturday, May 9th at 9:00 a.m. in the Building D Worship Center (2nd floor). Come enjoy great food, meaningful fellowship, and conversation about ways we can connect and serve together in our church and community. Whether you’re new or have been attending for years, this is a great opportunity to build relationships and get involved. We hope to see you there!

NEW 30s/40s WOMEN'S GATHERING

Life in our 30s and 40s can be full and fast-paced, but it’s also a time when meaningful connection matters more than ever. Join us for a new monthly women’s gathering designed to build community beyond Sunday mornings. Our first meet-up is Thursday, May 14 at 8:30am at Confident Coffee (Old Missouri). Come as you are, grab a coffee, and connect with other women from Central. We’ll rotate meeting times each month to fit different schedules, so there is no pressue to attend every time. INCLUSIVE CONNECTIONS

Join our Inclusive Connections group Thursday, May 14 at 6:30 pm in Building B room 102. Julie Thibodaux will be leading the group as we talk about "All Things Pride Parade". This will include Pride float design and decorating, as well as June Pride Week activities. Come join the fun! All are welcome!

MISSIONS AND OUTREACH 

OMP MISSION SPOTLIGHT

Central will be hosting the Ozark Mission Project on June 21-27th at our Dickson Street campus. The Ozark Mission Project transforms lives and communities through worship, fellowship, and hands-on mission. For nearly 40 years, the organization has served Arkansans who are unable to safely access their homes due to minor construction needs, yard work, or accessibility challenges such as the need for wheelchair ramps. To find out ways you can help OMP's mission here at Central, please reach out to Jules Anderson. We are in need of sponsoring dinners the week of 6/21-6/27. Please reach out to Melanie Bramlett to sign up to sponsor and serve a dinner!

SACK IT SUNDAY MAY 17TH 

Good Sam, Central’s outreach ministry, will be collecting food donations on May 17 to support both the CEO Food Pantry and Central on Garland Food Pantry. CEO is a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers from 21 local churches who provide emergency financial assistance and food to individuals and families in need in our community. The Central on Garland Food Pantry is open to all each Wednesday.

You can help by donating a sack filled with any of the following items:

• Cereal
• Healthy snack bars
• Canned vegetables
• Canned meats
• Peanut butter

Please bring your donations to the vehicle located between the sanctuary building and the CAC on May 17. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated and will be used to purchase food through the NWA Food Bank. Thank you for helping us support and care for those in our community facing food insecurity!

CONFIRMATION YOUTH PREVIEW

All confirmands are invited to a Youth Preview Night! Our final Youth Night of the semester will be on May 17 at 5 p.m. in the Building D Worship Center. Join us for dinner, worship, and fellowship! We can’t wait for you to meet our youth group and learn about ways to get involved.

CLUB K6 PENTECOST PARTY 

Join us as we celebrate the end of a wonderful year at Club K6! All students in grades K–6 and are invited to a fun-filled evening on Wednesday, May 13, from 6:00–7:30 pm in Building D. This final semester celebration features a Pentecost theme, so come dressed in red and ready to enjoy an exciting night of music, games, and great food. We look forward to celebrating together and wrapping up the year with joy, laughter, and community!

ACCYM ASSEMBLY: JULY 20-24

Assembly 2026 is July 20-24 at Hendrix in Conway! Our completed 6th-12th grade students will gather with other UMC youth around Arkansas for an amazing week of worship, and small groups! Central will provide transportation to and from Conway.

This year our VBS sleuths are On the Case! We're looking at some of the most famous stories and parables Jesus told to try to discover the deeper meaning for us now. All Private Eyes (Rising K-6th) are welcome to help us solve these mysteries!
