Central on Garland is needing volunteers for our We Are Nourished Food Pantry serves neighbors every Wednesday, and much of the rest of the week is spent preparing for that moment—making this a wonderful opportunity to plug in,
partner, and serve our community together. We also are needing a volunteer team to help with Sunday Suppers.
Pantry Volunteer Needs:
First Shift of Pantry, Wednesdays, 3:15-5:30 PM
This team is hands-on, welcoming and guiding our neighbors with dignity and care through the shopping experience
Second Shift of Pantry, Wednesdays, 5:15-7:30 PM
Volunteers continue to welcoming and guide neighbors during the last two hours of the pantry’s operation and perform closing duties that restore the space from pantry back to fellowship hall
Pick Up Walmart Rescue Food Donations, Weekdays
Drivers are needed to deepen the pool of volunteers picking up donations that are so vital to the pantry. Volunteers need a vehicle capable of handling boxes and crates and about 2 hours of time

Sunday Supper Volunteer Needs:
We are in need of Central volunteers to help prepare Sunday Supper on Sunday, March 25.
Details:
- Meal prepared offsite
- Delivered to Central on Garland by 3:00 p.m.
- Ready to serve at 4:00 p.m.
- Enough food to serve 30–35 people
- 2 servings per person on location
- 1 serving per person “to go”
- The meal can be whatever the preparers wish to provide.
